Mixed Precipitation has been onsite at The YES! House for one week, workshopping and dividing their next show! This Friday, they will present a work-in-progress performance of their second installment of their traveling operatic adventure! Mozart’s 1791 opera, Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute), is launched into the future, as a group of young explorers navigates the cosmos. Rival forces attempt to control their destiny, the Queen of the Night and Sarastro, the Wizard of the Sun. Join us for this lively, fun public performance for all ages!

Artistic Director Scotty Reynolds and the Mixed Precipitation team have assembled a team of new voices - including a few local Granite Falls area performers - to present a bold version of this opera classic. Mixed Precipitation tells the beginnings of this story with a cast of singers, puppeteers, and instrumentalists, featuring snippets from Mozart’s fiery arias, epic choruses, and the groovy beats of the 90s discotheque!
