Starting at 11:00am THIS SATURDAY, SEPT. 17, don’t miss your chance to Meet the Authors of “Voices from Pejuhutazizi”, Teresa R. Peterson & Walter Labatte, during the “Cultural Cookout” in celebration of Welcoming Week!
Welcoming Week 2022. In spirit of the theme ”Where we belong”, you are invited to where everyone belongs, the Cultural Cookout!!!
On 9/17 at 11:00am, Come and enjoy a free spread of delicious hors d’oeuvres representing 7 local community cultures! Meet Authors and Artisans from the Upper Sioux Community, stay for a story, compete with your coloring(ages 1-111 welcome), and don’t forget to take a recipe card from your favorite dish and leave a recipe in the food traditions mail box!
If that’s not enough, meet us in Granite Fall’s Winter Park at 2:00pm for outdoor games!
