Sunburg Community Music will present its fourth annual
Fiddle ‘n Christmas program on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 4 pm at Hope
Lutheran Church in Sunburg.  The event is
free and open to the public.  Coffee and
treats and a visit by Santa will follow the performance. 

This intergenerational program will showcase participants,
age 5 to 86 on fiddle (violin), upright bass, guitar, ukulele, mandolin and
Irish whistle.  Dempsey Schroeder, Maggie
Harp, and Joyce Rudningen, program mentors, will lead the program..    Dempsey,
a native of Pennock, a well-known fiddler and composer and Maggie, formerly of
New London ,will also perform special selections.  Past performances are available on-line on the
Sunburg Heritage Arts Youtube Channel.

Sunburg Community Music provides  barrier-free learning and music opportunities
to area residents. We make music together in community.  No previous experience is required.   The
only rule, is to have fun!  Lessons are free and instruments are
available on loan at no cost.  Instruments
are funded by grants and donations. 
Lessons are taught by volunteers.
