Accounting technician

The Minnesota State Arts Board has launched a search for an accounting technician. This important position is responsible for helping to ensure accountability for public funds by completing financial reviews and reconciliations for competitive and legislatively mandated grants. The accountant also will manage and track agency administrative expenditures.

Minimum qualifications include: an associate’s degree in accounting; a minimum of two years’ professional experience in an accounting position; ability to understand and explain state financial policies and procedures; and the ability to work with a diverse group of constituents including agency staff, vendors, and grantees.
