Dassel-Cokato Arts Association Call to Artists

The Dassel-Cokato Arts Association is calling all artists to participate in this year’s Red Rooster Fine Arts Show. Artists are invited to enter up to three pieces of original artwork for display and judging during the 58th annual Red Rooster Days celebration.

All media are welcome, i.e. painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, fibers, glass, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, etc. It must be the artist’s original work (however prints of artist’s original work are acceptable.) Artists need not be Dassel residents to participate.

A nominal registration fee of $10 allows for submission of up to three pieces of artwork. Entry forms must be postmarked by Wednesday, August 23. Work must be delivered to the Dassel History Center and Ergot Museum between Wednesday, August 23 and Tuesday, August 29 only.

Jurying will take place before the show opening, with cash prizes being presented at an awards presentation Sunday, September 3, 2:00 pm.

The Fine Arts Show will be open to the public, Saturday, September 2: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, Sunday, September 3, 1:00-3:00 pm and Labor Day Monday, September 4, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Was trying to find a way to renew/rejoin SMAHC. Did not succeed. Website difficult to navigate! RM
