BIPOC & Native Artists 20/20 Artist Fellowship

by SMAC

The 20/20 Artist Fellowship is an award given yearly to Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and Native artists working to create tools, pathways and systems of support for other artists in their communities. Launched in 2018, the 20/20 Artist Fellowship offers capital resources and professional development support to BIPOC and Native artists in Minnesota from all practices, disciplines and career stages.

Each year Springboard hosts a 2-4 person cohort where our artist fellows get connected to new mentors, collaborators and other culture makers working to make change happen in their fields. The 20/20 Artist Fellowship is a three year pilot program that will be offered yearly through 2020. The application period reopens in January 2020 and you are encouraged to visit the website to learn more and/or apply: www.springboardforthearts.org/20-20
