Arts Midwest: Establishing Tour Readiness

Spread the word: Emerging artists, ensembles, companies and those new to the business of touring are invited to join our pre-Conference Emerging Artist Primer: Building a Foundation for Successful Touring.

Registration is $25 and includes participation in two sessions.

Session 1: Establishing Tour Readiness 

Tuesday, August 24 at 1-3 PM CST 

This session will be artist-centered and provide resources to establish readiness to tour. The discussion will focus on evaluating the artist’s ability to tour, how to begin contacting and communicating with presenters, and understanding presenter expectations.

Session 2: Continuing the Conversation 

Thursday, October 7 at 11 AM-12 PM CST 

This follow up session will be an open Q&A format dedicated to continuing the conversation from the first session and helping with next steps for artists who attended the online Conference.
