Apply to perform at the 2021 MN Music Summit!

Musical Artists of all genres are encouraged to apply to perform at the 2021 MN Music Summit, taking place as a virtual event Saturday, May 1st + Sunday, May 2nd. Solo performers, duos, and full bands are welcome to apply for this opportunity.

THE DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FRIDAY, MARCH 26TH. Applications will be reviewed by an artist screening panel, and you will be contacted by MMC’s booking manager by Friday, April 2nd if you are chosen for a performance slot.

This event will feature a few different performance opportunities for MMC member artists. There will be:

– Two livestream concerts taking place Saturday night (5/1 in Fairmont) and Sunday night (5/2 in Duluth). Travel reimbursement and/or support (carpool) will be available for artists traveling further than 25 miles or for artists without reliable transportation. One night accommodation will also be available for traveling artists. COVID precautions as outlined by the Minnesota Department of Health at that time must be followed by anyone who participates.

– Sunday afternoon performances in a TEDx style, where artists share their “Minnesota Music Story”. This opportunity will consist of a brief performance & story from an artist about their experience as a performing artist in Minnesota.

– There may be some busking (street performing) opportunities for this event, taking place throughout the weekend.

The performance opportunities listed above are paid, and artists will have the option of sharing their tip jar information for the livestream events. MMC asks performers to refrain from swearing or overt public political speech from the stage during their performance.
