Every other year, the Prairie Star Award ($5,000) honors a SW MN-region artist for the outstanding artistic quality of their body of work and substantial history of their artistic accomplishments (such as noteworthy exhibits, published works, or performances) over an extended period of time.

Prairie Disciple Award
The Prairie Disciple Award ($1,000) honors an arts supporter/arts advocate for their substantial community contributions to the arts in the SW MN region over an extended period of time. Every other year, the award has a special focus on arts educators.
