The Minnesota Woodworkers Guild seeks woodworkers and artists for the 36th Annual Northern Woods – An Exhibition of Fine Woodworking.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN October 1, 2018 – The Minnesota Woodworkers Guild, a group of professional and amateur woodworkers invite you to present your work to the public at the 36th Annual Northern Woods Exhibition, Eden Prairie Center, Eden Prairie, MN, April 25-28. Applications must be submitted online at http://www.mnwwg.org/nwds.html.  Registration closes April 15, 2019.  In 2016, 114,942 visited Eden Prairie Center during the Exhibition.

Entries must be made primarily from wood and delivered, set up, and removed by the entrant.

The Exhibition has an estimated $4,000.00 in cash prizes available for Best in Show, Best Original Design, Best Traditional Piece, Best Turning, Best Detail, Best Finish, Most Technically Accomplished, 3 Judge’s Awards and Best First Time in Show. Award winners receive a professional photo of their entry and are posted on the Guild’s website at http://www.mnwwg.org/nwds.html. Photos of all entries appear in the Catalogue.

For members of the Minnesota Woodworkers Guild, or any local woodcarving, scroll saw, turning or CNC Club the fee is $60 for first piece and $25 for each additional entry.  All others must pay an $85 entrance fee for their first piece and $35 for each additional. Student(s) in High School and those currently enrolled in a Post-Secondary School may enter one piece for FREE (proof of status required).
