Jerome Foundation: MN Film, Video, & Digital Production Grants

Posted by

The Jerome Foundation’s 2014 Minnesota Film, Video, and Digital Production Grant Program will award grants to emerging film, video, and digital makers in the disciplines of experimental, narrative, documentary, and animation.

This year the program has been expanded to support artists who create work using non-traditional hardware such as mobile devices and computers.

The MN Film, Video, and Digital Production Grant Program supports production and post-production. It does not support pre-production activities such as screenwriting, location scouting, production planning, etc. The program does not fund retroactively, so completed projects or projects near completion do not qualify for support.

This program will consider projects created for exhibition in traditional venues such as theaters, festivals, or television, as well as non-traditional exhibition, such as projection in public spaces and distribution through mobile devices or the internet.

Informational workshops will be conducted at the sites below to answer questions and assist applicants in the preparation of their proposals. Attendance at one of these workshops is strongly encouraged for applicants who wish to receive detailed information about the program or ask specific questions.
